AMOUR<\/strong><\/em><\/a> This excellent, recent French film (with subtitles) which portrays an aging couple failing to have conversations, thereby creating an agonizing situation for themselves and their daughter.<\/p>\n

THE SEA INSIDE<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (Mar Adentro) Based on the true story of a man who was left a quadriplegic after a diving accident.  He campaigned for 28 years to end his life.<\/p>\n

THE CARER <\/em><\/strong><\/a>Terminally ill with a rare form of Parkinsons, this curmudgeonly Shakespearean actor doesn\u2019t want a caregiver.<\/p>\n

ON OUR OWN TERMS<\/strong><\/em> Moyers on Dying in America. A TV series from 2000 by Bill Moyers. DVDs can be obtained From Films Media Group<\/a> (Unfortunately not on Netflix).<\/p>\n

EYE WITNESS \u2013 PERSONAL NARRATIVES OF SELF-CHOSEN AND HUMANE DEATHS<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, by Dr.Boudewijn Chabot.  Chabot is a Dutch psychiatrist and a world-recognized expert on the three leading right-to-die methods, explored here.   Also included is Physician Assisted Dying.   Professionally produced and excellently dubbed in English.  Goes with his books A Way to Die, and Taking Control of your Death (both listed in Books & Articles ).
